D.I.Y. Cupcake Ornaments!

These cupcake ornaments are perfect for Christmas, and they're so easy to make! I will be selling them at a school fundraiser for charity! They're really nice to give as a present too! When wrapping, all you have to do is grab tissue paper, gather it from the top, and tie a bow on it with a little name tag!
                                                              To make them:

You need:

- Plain ball ornaments (festive colours)
- Cupcake papers
- String
- Premium Acrylic Silicone (for whip cream)
- Glitter (any colour)
- Fake cherries and leaves (from fake flower bouquet)
- Christmas buttons (gingerbread men, candy canes...)

Instructions:

Take the ornament in one hand, and spread silicone all over the top with a knife, that way you will get that natural look of a cupcake!
Once your'e done with the silicone, put a little more on the bottom of the cupcake paper so the ornament will stick.
Now is the fun part, add any Christmas buttons you want along with cherries, leaves, and of course glitter!
Once the cupcake ornament has dried (which will take 3 days to be completely dry) tie strings on all of them so they can hang from your Christmas tree!
Enjoy your ornaments!

All of these supplies can be bought at your local dollar store, making this craft very inexpensive!
I hope you will make tons of these ornaments for your friends and family this Christmas season!

New Whipple Gingerbread Treat House!

This is the new Whipple Gingerbread Treat House I got recently! If you don't know what Whipple is, it's basically a fake dessert making kit. It comes with this icing to decorate for example tart shells, cupcake papers... (no it's not edible) They came out with a new set for Christmas which was a Gingerbread Treat House! It's really adorable, it came with the roof, walls, windows, doors, and of course fake little candies to decorate the house with! It also came with adorable little sugar cookies to decorate. The picture below shows the two little girl sugar cookies and their little porcupine pet!

This set was bran new, so it came with some new items never seen in Whipple sets before, including the new Whipple decorating pen. It's a pen containing a chocolate gel inside, so when you decorate your cookies, or house it looks as if you just drizzled chocolate over the icing! Whipple Craft and Fun Creme comes from the original Japanese idea of Deco Den! Deco Den is fake icing put on anything: phones,mirrors,frames...with a bunch of cute little miniatures put on top. I know it doesn't make sense, but c'mon, it's so adorable! Below is a picture of a box I decorated with fake icing!

I know, it's so cute, or should I say "kawaii" the Japanese word for cute! The icing you see here is actually something that will surprise you! It's silicone. Yes the silicone used for construction! I never thought that I would use it in the craft world, but it actually works for fake icing or whip cream! It hardens perfectly within 3 days giving whatever you Deco Den a natural iced look! I will put up tutorials to make your own Deco Den things!
