These cupcake ornaments are perfect for Christmas, and they're so easy to make! I will be selling them at a school fundraiser for charity! They're really nice to give as a present too! When wrapping, all you have to do is grab tissue paper, gather it from the top, and tie a bow on it with a little name tag!
To make them:
You need:
- Plain ball ornaments (festive colours)
- Cupcake papers
- String
- Premium Acrylic Silicone (for whip cream)
- Glitter (any colour)
- Fake cherries and leaves (from fake flower bouquet)
- Christmas buttons (gingerbread men, candy canes...)
Instructions:
Take the ornament in one hand, and spread silicone all over the top with a knife, that way you will get that natural look of a cupcake!
Once your'e done with the silicone, put a little more on the bottom of the cupcake paper so the ornament will stick.
Now is the fun part, add any Christmas buttons you want along with cherries, leaves, and of course glitter!
Once the cupcake ornament has dried (which will take 3 days to be completely dry) tie strings on all of them so they can hang from your Christmas tree!
Enjoy your ornaments!
All of these supplies can be bought at your local dollar store, making this craft very inexpensive!
I hope you will make tons of these ornaments for your friends and family this Christmas season!
